Our journey begins in Alnwick with a community display for all the family. Organised and run by Alnwick Round Table and located at Alnwick Rugby Club, gates open at 6.30 on 4th November 2023 with fireworks starting at 7.30 . Tickets and information is available via the round table social media pages. Bring the whole family and enjoy the safety of a big community display.
Hexham Fireworks: fun for the family
Hexham is a popular market town in the Tyne Valley and in the heart of this beautiful town is The Sele Park – the home of the annual fireworks display. For 2023, the dazzling show in the sky will take place on Saturday 4th November at 6.30, with fireworks starting at 7pm. The event is a family friendly one which includes not just the fireworks, but also music, catering stands, and a small number of fairground rides. The vibrant pyrotechnic display lights up the countryside and is a truly memorable experience – you won’t be disappointed.
Newbiggin-by-the-Sea Fireworks
Head to Newbiggin-by-the-sea for fireworks on the beach on Saturday 4th November 2023. Start your afternoon with children’s fairground rides on the promenade, ready for the bonfire on the beach at 6pm with fireworks beginning just after.
Saltwell Park Firework display
For large events just outside of Northumberland, take a look at Saltwell Park Fireworks display, which is said to attract over 20,000 visitors to it’s event. Taking place on Saturday 4th November 2023, from 4pm, this is a ticketed event (more information on the link below). Boasting two firework displays – one for young children at 5.30pm and the main display starting from 7.30pm. The event includes fairground, entertainment, numerous food stalls and refreshments, it’s an unmissable event just over 1 mile from the Tyne Bridge.
