TESTIMONIALS
From start to finish, our guests’ testimonials reflect the extraordinary essence of our coastal and countryside retreats. Read on and feel inspired!
It was a great base to visit places in the area like Alnwick Castle and town, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island with Lindisfarne Castle (check the tide times to get back safely), local beaches and harbours, everywhere we wanted to visit was only half an hour's drive away. Neighbours and local people very friendly, lots of dog walkers always said hello when we were out walking
Location is great, near to harbour. If you're going for wildlife, we had puffins on the roof, greeted us when we arrived!
Would definitely go again
A very well presented property with everything we needed for a great stay. When returning to Northumberland we will definitely try and book pebbles cottage as a first choice . Thank you .
location
Beadnell is a small village located on the Northumberland coastline, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity. Beadnell is approximately half way between Newcastle Upon Tyne and Edinburgh and about 12 miles north of Alnwick.
The village of Beadnell boasts a unique geographical feature, as it’s the only west-facing harbour on the East Coast of England. This strategic location offers captivating sunset views over the waters of Beadnell Bay, a large sandy beach that stretches towards the south. The bay is enclosed to the north by Beadnell Point, a headland noted for its interesting geological formations. To the west and south of the village, the landscape transforms into beautiful rural countryside, while to the east, the vast expanse of the North Sea paints an awe-inspiring panorama. Beadnell truly occupies a prime spot amidst Northumberland’s natural splendour.
